Only weeks after her last fight, Hannah Cifers will step back in the octagon on June 13th to fight Mariya Agapova. First reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate, the matchup will be featured on the prelims of the card this weekend.
Agapova’s original opponent was Melissa Gatto, who was pulled from the card a few days prior due to travel restrictions in place because of COVID-19.
Making her UFC debut, Agapova has a 8-1 record in MMA. Her last two fights come from Invicta FC, getting wins in the first round both times.
Cifers is quick to get back in the cage, as her last fight was only in May. Competing on May 30th, Cifers lost to Mackenzie Dern, getting caught in a first-round kneebar.
Here’s the entire card for the June 13th show so far, which is set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
