As Ryan Benoit was pulled out of his match against Tyson Nam, a new opponent has been named Zarrukh Adashev. Per Aaron Bronsteter of TSN, the former Bellator and GLORY kickboxer will compete in his fifth MMA bout on Saturday.
Adashev made his MMA debut in 2015, losing via rear naked choke to Cody Mooney. Years later, he returned to the sport, having a three-fight winning streak in Bellator. His most recent win came last October, defeating Tevin Dyce with punches.
Nam will look to snap a two-fight losing streak when facing Adashev. He will also aim to attain his first win in the UFC.
It is not known why Benoit withdrew from the fight.
