Performance bonuses went to Tyson Nam, Christian Aguilera, Mariya Agapova and Marvin Vettori after UFC’s Saturday night event. The $50,000 bonuses all had something in common, being that they were all one round stoppage bouts.
The highest on the card fighter to get a bonus was Vettori, who stopped Karl Roberson with a rear naked choke in the first minute of their co-main event fight. The long-awaited matchup was first scheduled for a May, being re-booked after Roberson pulled from the show due to medical reasons.
Starting off the main card, Agapova won her UFC debut against Hannah Cifers. The win, which came via rear naked choke, was the second-straight loss for Cifers, who competed on a May show as well.
Two of the first three fights of the evening got bonuses, as the show started with three first-minute stoppage wins. In the second bout of the evening, Nam knocked out Zarrukh Adashev with punches. The win was Nam’s first, having lost his first two via decision.
In a double debut match to start the evening, Aguilera got a win over Anthony Ivy. The fight saw Aguilera charge Ivy with punches, making him shell up before the referee stopped the fight.
The performance bonuses were announced by UFC President Dana White on the show’s post-fight press conference.
