Leonardo Santos and Roman Bogatov have been added to UFC 251 card on July 11th. First reported by MMA Vestnik, the matchup will be the UFC debut for Bogatov.
Bogatov, a 10-0 undefeated Russian fighter has spent most of his career so far in Russian promotion M-1 Challenge. He won the promotion’s lightweight championship in 2018, defending it twice, with the second of the two in August.
His opponent, Santos, will look to continue his five-fight winning streak which dates back to 2014. His most recent win was against Stevie Ray, stopping him early in the first round with punches.
UFC 251 is set to be headlined by three championship matches, including a UFC Welterweight Championship between Kamaru Usmand and Gilbert Burns. The show is set to happen at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi.
