Now a month away, UFC 251 has a full lineup set for it. Making the show 11 fights now, a welterweight matchup between Elizeu Zaleski and Muslim Salikhov has been added. First reported by Marcelo Barone of Combate, Salikhov will be putting a three-fight winning streak on the line.
Salikhov made his UFC debut in 2017 with a loss to Alex Garcia. It’s only been up since then, as the Russian has gotten three wins in a row. More recently, Salikhov won a decision fight over Laureano Staropoli.
Zaleski was a welterweight on the rise in 2019, having a seven-fight winning streak at one point. In August of 2019, a loss tot Li Jingliang ended the long streak. The Brazilian bounced back in March with a win over Alexey Kunchenko. He aims to build on that momentum in July.
UFC 251, which takes place at the Yas Island in Abu Dhabi, has a triple threat of title matches setup. The 12-fight card looks like this currently.
