Kim vs. Grasso and Brady vs. Aguilera Added To UFC’s August 29th Show

UFC is planning on holding an event on August 29th, with two bouts booked for the show so far. Here are the fights which are scheduled to happen on August 29th.

Ji Yeon Kim vs. Alexa Grasso

In a matchup that was first booked for June, Ji Yeon Kim and Alexa Grasso will fight in late August. The matchup was first announced by Solo MMA.

Kim’s last fight was an impressive showing, defeating Nadia Kassem with striking in the second round. The win was a comeback from her previous matchup, where scorecards favoured Antonina Shevchenko over her.

Grasso’s last fight goes back to September, where Carla Esparza won a majority decision. She was meant to fight Claudia Gadelha at UFC 246 in January, but after missing weight by five-and-a-half pounds the fight was cancelled.

This fight will be the first for Grasso at flyweight, moving up from the strawweight division.

Christian Aguilera vs. Sean Brady

Christian Aguilera and Sean Brady will also compete on the card. The booking sees the fighters, who have both had short yet strong starts in the UFC collide. The matchup was first reported by Steven Marrocco and Damon Martin of MMA Fighting.

Aguilera made an impact in his UFC debut in mid-June, stopping Anthony Ivy in just under a minute with strikes.

Brady has fought twice in the UFC, both being decision victories. He carries an 11-fight undefeated streak that will be put on the line in August.
