UFC’s June 27th “Fight Night” event now has another bout added to it, as Mara Romero Borella and Miranda Maverick will square off on the show. First reported by MMA DNA, the fight will be the UFC debut for Maverick.
Maverick fought in regional women’s MMA promotion Invicta FC for most of her professional MMA career, with her most recent fight in the promotion being a decision victory over Pearl Gonzalez.
She’s matched against Borella, who has lost her last three in the UFC. Borella had a short appearance in May, losing to Cortney Casey after being caught in an armbar in the first round.
