UFC Fighter Mike Perry Involved In Physical Altercation At Bar

Footage surfaced on Thursday night of a physical altercation at a bar between UFC fighter Mike Perry and numerous other people.

Footage of the incident from a bar in Lubbock, Texas, USA, starts before a dispute started. Perry first stresses that he won’t leave the area until the cops come, claiming that if he leaves they’ll tell the police something.

“Yeah let’s go you fat piece of s***,” Perry said to a man inside the bar before the incident turned physical.

Per a report from MMA Fighting, allegedly three people were victims of assault. While Perry was questioned at the bar, he did not get arrested.

Perry was charged with “Class A Assault” for the incident and could be fined $500 for it.

UFC put out a statement on Mike Perry on Thursday.

“He [Perry] believes he has some issues related to alcohol abuse and has informed the UFC that he has committed to immediately seek professional treatment,” said the UFC, reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN.

“[The] UFC has informed Perry that he will not be offered a bout, and the parties have agreed to evaluate next steps for Perry following … his treatment program,” the statement continued.

“No comment,” said Perry on his Twitter account Thursday night following the footage surfacing.

Perry compete quite recently, defeating Mickey Gall on UFC’s June 27th card in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
