Starting off the main card on Saturday, Khamzat Chimaev faced Rhys McKee. Here’s how the fight went.

Bout 9: Khamzat Chimaev (7-0) vs. Rhys McKee (10-2-1) (Welterweight)

Chimaev picked up McKee early, getting a takedown near his corner men’s side of the octagon. Chimaev moved into full mount, throwing punches to the head of McKee. Chimaev tried for a rear naked choke before continuing with punches on top. Getting on the back of McKee, Chimaev threw a fast tempo of punches. He continued for a long time, with the referee eventually intervening.

RESULT: Khamzat Chimaev def. Rhys McKee via TKO, Strikes (RD 1, 3:09)
