Lightweights Thiago Moises and Jalin Turner are being booked for UFC’s September 5th event, joining the now-nine-bout “Fight Night.” The pairing was first reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate.
Moises and Turner are both products of TV series “Dana White’s Contender Series” where outstanding performances earned them UFC contracts. They have both fought four times in the UFC since then, with identical records of two wins and two losses.
Moises last fought in May, where he stopped Michael Johnson in the second round with an ankle lock. The win saw him bounce back from an August decision loss to Damir Ismagulov.
Turner’s last fight was also a win, finishing Joshua Culibao on a February card with ground and pound.
