Bout 8: Beneil Dariush (18-4-1) vs. Scott Holtzman (14-3) (Catchweight 158 lbs)
A finger getting in the eye of Dariush caused a pause early on. Another eye poke came shortly after. Holtzman was warned against afterwards. Dariush charged forward attempting for a takedown after they resumed. They stayed against the cage in a clinch. Dariush hurt Holtzman when they left a clinch, charging forward with more punches. Holtzman was able to stay on his backfoot, although Dariush kept landing punches. Holtzman shot for a takedown in the third minute, with Dariush getting on his back while they were on the knees. They got back to the feet in the fourth minute and went into a clinch. They separated in the final minute and went back to striking. A cut developed under the left eye of Holtzman during the round. Dariush had another flurry of punches that hurt Holtzman. Dariush landed a spinning backfist that dropped Holtzman, ending the fight.
