A matchup between Michelle Waterson and Angela Hill won’t happen on August 22nd, instead being moved to UFC’s September 12th card. It was first reported on Thursday by Cole Shelton of BJPENN.com that the bout was rescheduled due to personal reasons for Waterson.
Now on a September card, Waterson will still look to end her two-fight losing streak. The first of two losses came in the fall, where Waterson lost a headlining bout against Joanna Jedrzejczyk via decision. Her second loss was on UFC’s returning card from COVID-19, UFC 249, where she lost to Carla Esparza via split decision.
“Overkill” Hill’s last bout ended a three-fight streak of wins she garnered in late 2019 and early 2020. Fighting on a May card, Hill lost a split decision to Claudia Gadelha.
UFC’s September 12th card now enters the double digits, with 10 bouts scheduled in total for it. Here’s how the card looks currently.
