Tonight’s UFC show has lost its co-main event, as Ovince St. Preux has been pulled from his fight against Alonzo Menifield due to a positive COVID-19 test. Due to the positive test, the matchup between St. Preux and Menifield has been moved to UFC’s September 5th card.
The removal from the card was first announced by KO Reps, the management team for St. Preux.
Saturday night’s UFC card has now been reduced to nine fights in total. The light heavyweight bout is one of the many that has been taken off of Saturday’s card on short notice.
On Friday, news broke that Daniel Rodriguez would face Dwight Grant after both of their respective opponents were taken off of the card.
