Undefeated featherweight Bryce Mitchell is set to return on October 31st, facing Andre Fili on a UFC card. The matchup, which was first reported by Mike Bohn and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie, sees both fighters look for their second win in 2020.
Mitchell’s last win was at the UFC’s returning event, UFC 249, defeating Charles Rosa via unanimous decision. The win was Mitchell’s fourth since joining the UFC in 2018.
The fight will be a test for Mitchell, who is paired with an experienced UFC fighter in Fili. Fili’s last fight was in June, picking up a split decision win over Charles Jourdain. The win saw him bounce back from an early 2020 loss to Sodiq Yusuff via decision.
The October fight will see Mitchell deviate from the UFC’s usual Reebok uniform, as he will be allowed to wear camouflage pants, something he has requested following wins before.
“I signed with @Realtree [Real Tree] and they’re teamin up with @Reebok to make my camo shorts,” announced Mitchell via Twitter on Tuesday.
