Main Card (8:30AM EDT / 7:30PM ICT)
Bout 1: Yodkaikaew Fairtex (5-2-1) vs. Alex Schild (5-3) (135 lbs)
Yodkaikaew was the sharper striker on the feet early on. Schild shot for a takedown in the first minute which Yodkaikaew did a good job to defend. Schild eventually got Yodkaikaew to the ground, taking his back after fighting for the position. Yodkaikaew was able to escape the position, moving into full guard on top with two minutes left in the round. They returned to the feet shortly after. Schild put Yodkaikaew against the ropes in a body lock in the final minute, attempting to land a takedown. Schild shot for a takedown before the round ended.
Like in the start of the second round, Yodkaikaew was the better striker on the feet. Schild tried for a takedown that Yodkaikaew was able to get control of, taking full guard on top before leaving the position and forcing the fight to return to the feet. Schild was dropped by punches in the second minute of the round, although Yodkaikaew waited for him to stand back up before attacking again. Yodkaikaew stuffed a few takedown attempts after. Leg kicks from Yodkaikaew were hurting Schild, as he started to limp in the second round from them. Schild was dropped in the fourth minute of the round due to leg kicks three times. He was dropped two more times in the final minute of the round.
Yodkaikaew stopped a takedown in the first minute of the final round. Dropping Schild with leg kicks again, follow up leg kicks from Yodkaikaew ended the fight.
Bout 2: Huang Ding vs. Sok Thy (135 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)
Starting slow, the striking heated up slowly between them throughout the round. Huang had a clear height advantage over Sok. A body punch from Soh dropped Huang late in the first round, keeping him down for the 10 count, ending the fight.
Bout 3: Drex Zamboanga (8-5) vs. Detchadin Sornsirisuphathin (8-5) (135 lbs)
Both fighters threw wild hooks early on. Zamboanga caught a leg kick for a takedown in the second minute of the round. They got back up in a clinch a minute later, eventually being separated by the referee. Sorsirisuphathin scored a double leg takedown in the fourth minute of the fight. He kept Zamboanga against the ropes in a clinch when they went to the feet.
Zamboanga had an aggressive start to the second round, advancing on Sornsirisuphathin with punches. Zamboanga got a takedown in the third minute of the fight, taking full guard on top. The referee stood them up eventually due to inactivity. Zamboanga got a takedown in the first minute of the round following a clinch. Getting on the back of Sornsirisuphathin, Zamboanga tried for a rear naked choke. Keeping ahold of the choke, Zamboanga chokes Sornsirisuphathin unconscious before the round ran out of time, ending the fight.
Bout 4: Wondergirl Fairtex vs. KC Carlos (115 lbs) (Muay Thai Bout)
Wondergirl had a good first minute, connected with a higher volume of kicks and punches. She was also able to connected with knees to the body in clinches. She had a clear reach and height advantage over Carlos as well.
Wondergirl continued to out-strike Carlos in the second round. A pause came in the round due to a nose injury of Carlos. After a short break, the fight was decided to be called off, giving Wondergirl the win.
Bout 5: Denice Zamboanga (7-0) vs. Watsapinya Kaewkhong (0-0) (115 lbs)
Kaewkhong landed knees to the body early in the fight. Zamboanga got a takedown from the clinch a minute into the round. Zamboanga was quick to put in an americana from side control, causing Kaewkhong to tap out.
Bout 6: Rodlek PK.Saenchaimuaythaigym vs. Kulabdam Sor. Jor. Piek Uthai (145 lbs) (ONE Bantamweight Muay Thai Tournament Final)
The first round was a feeling out process from both fighters. A cut opened in the second round on Rodlek’s head. Kulabdam was dropped by a two-punch combo from Rodlek in the final minute of the second round.
After trading punches in the pocket early in the third round, Kulabdam was dropped by a right hook and knee to the body from Rodlek. The fight continued, with Rodlek clinching with Kulabdam. The fast pace of the fight slowed down significantly in the final minute.
Bout 7: Stamp Fairtex vs. Allycia Hellen Rodrigues (115 lbs) (ONE Atomweight Muay Thai Championship)
The first round was the expected slow pace as both fighters got a feel for each other. Stamp had a better start in the earlier rounds of the fight. Rodrigues landed a good elbow in the second round.
Stamp started to bleed from the nose in the third round of the fight. Rodrigues was keeping up with the pace of Stamp throughout the fight, making it a very close matchup. The fourth round was the best for Rodrigues, charging forward with strikes while Stamp took a backseat on defence.
Much like the fourth round, Rodrigues was pushing the pace of the final round. The fight went the distance after five rounds, with Rodrigues getting the win and becoming the new ONE Atomweight Muay Thai Champion.
