Roman Kopylov To Seek First UFC Win Against Tom Breese on October 3rd Card

Looking for his first win in the UFC, Roman Kopylov will return on October 3rd against Tom Breese. News of the middleweight matchup was announced by the UFC Friday via Twitter.

Kopylov made his UFC debut last November when he was paired with Karl Roberson. The matchup didn’t go his way, losing in the final minute of the fight via rear naked choke. The former Fight Nights Global Middleweight Champion will look to get back in the win column following a loss for the first time in his career come October.

He faces Breese, who has competed in the UFC six times before. Out of his six fights, four of those have been victories, although his most recent was loss, being stopped in the first round by Brendan Allen back in February.

The fight joins a card that now has nine bouts in general. The main event is set to be a bantamweight matchup between Irene Aldana and former UFC Bantamweight Champion Holly Holm.

The fight was originally scheduled for August 1st, however, it was moved to this card after Aldana tested positive for COVID-19. Here’s the full card so far.
