The UFC’s November 28th “Fight Night” now has two more bouts added to its lineup.
Rachael Ostovich vs. Gina Mazany
Returning after a near two-year layoff, Rachael Ostovich will be matched with Gina Mazany in November. The bantamweight bout was first reported by Nolan King of MMA Junkie.
Ostovich has lost her last two fights, those being matchups against Montana De La Rosa and Paige VanZant in 2018 and 2019 respectively. Since her time out of the octagon, Ostovich served a one-year USADA suspension due to a positive test.
Mazany made her return to the UFC last June, facing Julia Avila on a UFC “Fight Night.” She lost the bout in short time, being stopped by Avila in 22 seconds due to strikes.
Prior to the fight, Mazany competed once outside of the UFC, defeating Valerie Barney on a King of the Cage show.
Martin Day vs. Anderson Dos Santos
Both aiming to come back from a losing streak, Martin Day and Anderson Dos Santos will collide on the card. News of the matchup was first reported by Raphael Marinho of Combate.
Day last fought in July, losing a matchup in the third round to Davey Grant at UFC 251. His previous fight dated back to 2018, where a split decision favoured Liu Pingyuan.
The fight will be the return of Dos Santos, who last fought over a year ago now. In his first two UFC bouts, Dos Santos dropped decisions to Nad Narimani and Andre Ewell.
