With injury taking Matt Frevola out of his bout against Roosevelt Roberts, Kevin Croom has stepped up to the plate on short notice. The new matchup for the UFC’s September 12th card was announced by the UFC on Friday.
The fight will be Croom’s UFC debut following a three-fight winning streak. Croom’s streak includes a February win in Bellator, defeating Adil Benjilany via split decision. He last fought in August, defeating Anderson Hutchinson on a Fighting Alliance Championship card.
Now with a new opponent, Roberts will look to bounce back from his June loss to Jim Miller. The fight was a quick turnaround for Roberts, who defeated Brok Weaver on a show the month before.
Here’s how Saturday’s UFC show looks currently. The show is scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
