Jeremiah Wells will get his UFC debut on Saturday, replacing Mickey Gall in a matchup against Miguel Baeza. The addition to the UFC’s September 19th card was first reported by Carlos Antunes of AgFight.
Wells, the CFFC Welterweight Champion, will come into the fight on a two-fight win streak obtained in 2019. His last fight was in September of 2019, stopping Marco Smallman in the second round with a rear naked choke.
The fight will be Baeza’s third challenge since joining the UFC. Still undefeated, Baeza extended his record to nine fights when he stopped Matt Brown back in May.
Saturday night’s card is set to happen at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Headlining the large card is a welterweight battle between Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington.
