The UFC lost their co-main event fight for October 3rd on Tuesday, as a positive COVID-19 test forced Thiago Santos to pull out of his bout against Glover Teixeira. News of the test was broken by Marcelo Barone of Combate.
The bout has now been cancelled twice, as a September 12th booking was cancelled after Teixeira tested positive for COVID-19.
Headlining the October 3rd card is scheduled to be a bantamweight matchup between Holly Holm and Irene Aldana. The fight was moved to the card after a positive COVID-19 test on Aldana scratched the bout off of an August 1st card.
