Khadis Ibragimov To Look For First UFC Win Against Debuting Danilo Marques At UFC 253

UFC 253 has gained another light heavyweight bout, as a matchup between Khadis Ibramigov and Danilo Marques has been added to the card. News of the pairing was first reported by Natassia del Fischer of AgFight.

The fight will be Ibragimov’s fourth crack at the UFC following three consecutive losses. Entering the promotion in 2019 while still undefeated, Ibragimov lost to Da Un Jung, Ed Herman and most recently Roman Dolidze.

Marques will make his return to MMA with the fight, as his most recent fight dates back to February of 2018. The former Gladiator Combat Fight Middleweight Champion will look to extend his dated winning streak to three-straight.

UFC 253 has light heavyweight gold on the line later in the show, as Dominick Reyes and Jan Blachowicz are scheduled to fight for the vacant UFC Light Heavyweight Championship.

The headlining bout of the evening is set to be UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya against Paulo Costa.
