Veteran UFC fighter Donald Cerrone fought Niko Price in the co-main event of Saturday’s show. Here’s how the fight went.

Price came forward and connected with punches early that backed Cerrone up against the cage. While staying on his feet, Cerrone consumed numerous punches by Price. Cerrone was hit with elbows from the clinch by Price. An eye poke to Cerrone caused a pause in the third minute of the fight. Cerrone was quick to call for the fight to resume. Cerrone attempted a takedown in the final minute of the round. An eye poke hit Cerrone in his other eye in the final minute of the round. A point was deducted to Price due to the eye poke.
Cerrone’s striking was much more active in the second round, although Price was still out-striking him.
Cerrone tried for a takedown early in the final round, putting a clinch on Price. Price was able to resist the takedown and keep the fight on the feet. A pause in the final round came as both fighters were poked in the eye. They were both apologetic and quick to resume the fight. Cerrone got a takedown in the third minute of the round, mounting the back of Price as he got to his feet. Price dumped him to the ground, making him get back to the feet with under two minutes left. Cerrone connected with a few hooks to the head in the fourth minute. Price initiated a clinch that Cerrone took over. Cerrone landed a head kick as they left the clinch. Both fighters connected with punches late in the fight. Price failed a takedown attempt. The fighters swung wild punches until the clock ran out. The fight was a draw after three rounds (29-27 Cerrone, 28-28 & 28-28).
