Flyweights Tim Elliott and Jordan Espinosa are set to face off at a UFC event on January 16th. News of the matchup was first reported by Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA.
The location of the event is not known currently.
Elliott will come back to action after snapping a three-fight skid in his last fight. He last competed in July, defeating Ryan Benoit via decision.
Espinosa will return after a loss in his last fight. Espinosa returned in September, not being favoured in a decision against David Dvorak. His previous fight was a decision victory over Mark De La Rosa.
The fight is the third to be reported for a January 16th card. Here’s the lineup set for the date thus far.
Bout 3: Ricky Simon (16-3) vs. Brian Kelleher (22-11) (Bantamweight)
Bout 2: Justin Tafa (4-1) vs. Carlos Felipe (9-1) (Heavyweight)
