Play-by-Play:

Bout 2: John Pham (2-0) vs. Christian Rodriguez (3-0) (Bantamweight)

Rodriguez caught a leg kick in the second minute for a takedown. He got on the back of Pham as they returned to the feet. He kept the pressure on Pham on the feet, keeping him against the cage in a body lock. Pham left the clinch in the third minute, returning to striking on the feet. Pham was a much more active striker on the feet. Rodriguez caught a leg kick for another takedown in the fourth minute of the fight. Rodriguez quickly moved into side control where he held an arm triangle choke. He let go of the choke after moving into full mount. Rodriguez threw a series of punches from full mount before taking the back of Pham. Pham got to his feet, although he wasn’t able to shake Rodriguez off of his back. They remained in the position until the round ended.

Rodriguez scored a takedown early in the second round. Pham was quick to get back to his feet, although Rodriguez took the fight back down from a clinch. Rodriguez moved into full mount in the second minute where he started to throw punches. Pham gave up his back to Rodriguez, allowing him to put in a rear naked choke to finish the fight.

Bout 3: Joshua DaSilveira (2-0) vs. Fernando Alvarado (1-1) (Light Heavyweight)

Alvarado threw kicks at DaSilveira to start the fight. While missing many punches, Alvarado backed DaSilveira up with a series of punches. DaSilveira landed a combination of punches in the second minute of the round. Both fighters landed knees to the body in the second minute of the fight. DaSilveira landed a clean left cross in the second minute. The fighters clinched up halfway through the round. DaSilveira landed a series of punches to the head while keeping Alvarado against the cage. He put together a few more punches after leaving the clinch. DaSilveira scored a takedown in the fourth minute of the fight, landing in half guard. The fight went back to the feet before the round ran out of time.

DaSilveira was the more aggressive striker early in the second round. He continued to chase Alvarado down with strikes for the entirety of the round.

DaSilveira clinched with Alvarado early in the third round after Alvarado charged at him with punches. DaSilveira scored a takedown a minute into the round, taking half guard after dumping him down. DaSilveira moved into full mount where he landed punches and elbows. DaSilveira looked for an arm triangle choke in the fourth minute of the fight, causing Alvarado to tap out eventually.

Bout 4: Trevor Wells (3-1) vs. Carlos Hernandez (5-1) (Flyweight)

The fighters were exchanging fast combinations of strikes early in the first round. Wells was able to stop a takedown attempt in the second minute of the round. The hard punches from both fighters continued to connect late into the round.

Wells landed a few good punches early in the second round. Wells got a takedown in the second minute of the round, although Hernandez was able to return to the feet immediately. Hernandez scored a hard left hook to the head as part of an exchange in the third minute of the fight. As the fight slightly slowed down, Hernandez clearly started to have the better strikes on the feet.

Wells scored a double leg takedown in the opening minute of the third round. Hernandez was able to get up quickly. Hernandez scored his own takedown in the third minute of the round. He moved into side control with two minutes left to work. The fight got back to the fight just before the round ran out of time. After three rounds of action, the judges chose Hernandez as the winner (30-27, 29-28 & 30-27).

Bout 5: Justin Wetzell (5-1) vs. Teshay Gouthro (3-0) (Catchweight 140 lbs)

Gouthro denied Wetzell’s glove touch before the fight started. Wetzell tried for a takedown a minute into the fight, eventually earning it after fighting Gouthro for control against the cage. Wetzell took half guard on top. The fight moved back to the feet in the second minute after Wetzell attempted a choke on the ground. Gouthro was able to stop the second takedown attempt in the round from Wetzell. Wetzell earned a takedown in the second round of the fight, taking the back of Gouthro after he worked up to his knees. Gouthro went back down to the ground, with Wetzell taking full mount before being moved into full guard. The fight returned to the feet with a minute to go in the round. Gouthro scored a takedown just before the round concluded.

Gouthro put Wetzell against the cage in a clinch two minutes into the second round. The fight went back to the feet with half of the round to go. Gouthro scored his second takedown of the fight with a minute left in the round.

Wetzell earned another takedown a minute into the final round. Gouthro was able to work back to his feet and take the fight back to striking. Wetzell shot for another takedown in the second minute of the round, eventually tripping a leg of Gouthro to get the fight down. Wetzell moved into full mount with two minutes left in the fight. Wetzell looked for an arm triangle choke, moving into half guard while holding it. Gouthro was able to escape the hold. Wetzell went on his back and attempted a guillotine choke until the fight ran out of time. Wetzell got the win after three rounds (29-28, 29-28 & 29-28).

Bout 6: Elijah Johns (6-1) vs. Luke Faultersack (6-3) (Featherweight)

Faultersack immediately scored a double leg takedown in the first round. Johns was quick to return to the feet. Faultersack scored his second takedown in the second minute of the fight, although, like the takedown before, Johns immediately took the fight back to the feet. Faultersack scored a hard overhand right in the second minute of the round. Faultersack scored a third takedown late in the round. He finished the round with a right straight that landed clean to the head of Johns.

Johns charged forward with strikes early in the second round. Faultersack tried to stop the momentum by shooting for a takedown. The fight returned to striking after both fighters attempted to reverse the takedown attempt. Johns stopped a takedown attempt in the second minute of the round. Faultersack shot for a takedown in the third minute of the round after Johns landed a fly knee to the head. Faultersack started to bleed from the head shortly after. Johns landed a series of knees and an elbow from a clinch, scoring with punches after exiting the clinch as well. Johns controlled the fight with striking for the rest of the round.

The fighters exchanged punches early in the third round. Faultersack picked up Johns and slammed him down two minutes into the round, taking full guard on top after. Johns was able to leave the position and get back on the feet. Johns stopped a takedown with two minutes left in the fight. Like he did in the round before, Johnsd connected with a series of punches after leaving a clinch in the final minute of the fight. Johns got a victory after three rounds of action (30-27, 30-27 & 30-26).

Bout 7: Joshua Fremd (5-1) vs. Antonio Jones (7-3) (Middleweight)

Fremd started the fight with a flying knee to the head. He put Jones against the cage in a clinch right after. Fremd got a takedown from the position eventually. The fight returned to a clinch on the feet in the second minute. Back to striking, Fremd put together a series of hooks to the head that seemingly hurt Jones. Jones was hit with a punch after leaving the punch that dropped him. On all fours, Jones was hit with a hook to the head which knocked him out, finishing the bout.

Bout 8: Sam Hughes (4-1) vs. Danielle Hindley (4-1) (Catchweight 120 lbs)

Hughes put Hindley against the cage in the second minute of the fight. Hindley pulled guard while her back was against the cage. Hughes held Hindley for a moment, backing up once Hindley dropped to the ground. Hughes had strong striking on the feet, landing singular shots while keeping Hindley up against the cage. Hughes stopped a takedown in the final moments of the round, with Hughes putting in a guillotine choke to defend it. She kept the choke until the round ended, although once she let go of the choke it was clear Hindley went unconscious. The referee stopped the fight after realizing Hindley had been choked out.

Bout 9: Andre Petroski (5-0) vs. Aaron Jeffery (8-2) (Middleweight)

Petroski scored a takedown early in the fight after backing Jeffery up against the cage with punches. Petroski got on the back of Jeffery as the fight returned to the feet. Petrosky kept Jeffery against the cage in a clinch after going back to the feet. They returned to striking with half of the round left. Petroski scored his second takedown with two minutes left in the fight. Jeffery worked back up to his feet a minute later.

Petroski connected with straight punches early in the second round that backed Jeffery up. Petroski put down another takedown in the second minute of the round. Jeffery landed some elbows to the head while on his back. Jeffery was able to take full guard on top with two to go in the fight. Petroski got back to his feet, although he was kept against the cage by Jeffery. Jeffery landed an elbow to the head and a series of knees that dropped Petroski, cutting him open and ending the fight as well.
