Finally getting their rematch for their February fight, Magomad Ankalaev and Ion Cutelaba competed to kick off the main card. Their fight went like this.
Bout 7: Magomed Ankalaev (13-1) vs. Ion Cutelaba (15-5) (Light Heavyweight)
The first few minutes of the fight were slow paced, as Cutelaba chased Ankalaev down. Ankalaev dropped Cutelaba in the fourth minute with a left cross to the head. A two hook combination dropped Cutelaba in the final minute. Ankalaev landed ground and pound until Cutelaba was knocked unconscious, ending the fight.
RESULT: Magomed Ankalaev def. Ion Cutelaba via TKO, Strikes (RD 1, 4:19)
