Kanako Murata has a new opponent for her UFC debut, as she is now being booked against Randa Markos for November 14th. First reported by Neil Davidson of The Canadian Press, Markos takes the place of Livinha Souza, who withdrew from the bout.
The fight joins a card that is expected to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Markos has lost her last two fights, dropping bouts to Amanda Ribas and Mackenzie Dern in 2020.
Murata enters the UFC after seven-straight wins. The former Invicta FC Strawweight Champion claimed her belt in her last fight, defeating Emily Ducote via split decision in 2019.
The main event of the November 14th show is currently set to be between Islam Makhachev and Rafael dos Anjos. Here’s how the show looks now.
