Invicta FC 43’s championship main event between Emily Ducote and Montserrat Ruiz has been removed from the card, per an announcement by the promotion on Friday. The fight was removed from the card due to “enhanced COVID-19 safety protocols.”
Ducote and Ruiz were scheduled to compete for the vacant Invicta FC Strawweight Championship.
The card will proceed with five bouts in total, with PFL’s Kayla Harrison fighting Courtney King in the main event.
The show is expected to take place in Kansas City, Kansas, USA.
