Being promoted to main event and getting their fight bumped up from three rounds to five on only a days notice, Anthony Smith and Devin Clark fought in the main event of Saturday’s UFC card. Here’s how the fight panned out.
Bout 10: Anthony Smith (33-16) vs. Devin Clark (12-4) (Light Heavyweight)
Clark clinched with Smith in the opening moments of the fight. Smith scored a takedown from the position, holding side control on top after. Clark was able to reverse and move into full guard on top in the second minute of the fight. Smith looked for a triangle choke from the bottom. Increasing the pressure on the tap, Smith caused Clark to tap out, ending the fight.
