Alexis Davis will look to snap a three-fight losing streak on February 27th when she fights Sabina Mazo. The matchup was first reported by Carlos Contreras Legaspi of Milenio.
The location of the event is not known at the moment.
Davis, a UFC fighter since 2013, is currently on the first three-fight losing streak of her career. Her last bout was in July of 2019, where she lost a decision to Viviane Araujo. Previous losses came to Jennifer Maia and Katlyn Chookagian.
Mazo is in a very different position than Davis, as she is on a three-fight win streak. She picked up a finish win in September, stopping Justine Kish in the third round with a rear naked choke.
Mazo’s performance was strong, as she was able to score a knockdown with a head kick in a round before the finish.
The fight joins a card that currently has a light heavyweight main event between Dominick Reyes and Jiri Prochazka scheduled. Here’s the updated lineup.
Bout 3: Dominick Reyes (12-2) vs. Jiri Prochazka (27-3-1) (Light Heavyweight)
Bout 2: Alonzo Menifield (9-2) vs. William Knight (9-1) (Light Heavyweight)
Bout 1: Alexis Davis (19-10) vs. Sabina Mazo (9-1) (Flyweight)
