Three fights have been removed from Saturday’s UFC card just hours before it was set to begin.
Positive COVID-19 tests forced a fight between Nate Landwehr and Movsar Evloev as well as a bout between Taila Santos and Montana De La Rosa off the card, per MagicM MMA.
A bout between Cody Durden and Jimmy Flick was taken out of the lineup for undisclosed reasons.
The fights were scheduled to take place from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The card has been brought down to a total of eight fights following the cancelled bouts.
COVID-19 continues to influence rapid changes in lineups for events. News broke earlier in the week that UFC would lose their December 19th main event after Leon Edwards tested positive for COVID-19.
Last weekend’s UFC main event between Derrick Lewis and Curtis Blaydes was scrapped on a few days notice after Blaydes tested positive for COVID-19.
Here’s the updated lineup for Saturday’s UFC card with the remaining fights.
