Bout 5: Roman Dolidze (7-0) vs. John Allan (13-5) (Light Heavyweight)
Dolidze landed a takedown from the clinch in the opening minute, taking half guard on top after. Dolidze went to his feet for a moment, going back down in the second minute to look for a leg submission. Dolidze looked for a heel hook, although Allan was able to escape and return to his feet. Dolidze dropped Allan in the second-half of the round. He looked for another leg submission on the ground that Allan was quick to escape. Allan looked for a guillotine choke for a moment as Dolidze chased him down.
Dolidze scored a takedown in the second minute of the second round. Fighting to leave half guard for most of the round, Dolidze kept active with punches throughout the round. He looked for another heel hook before Allan got to his feet in the final seconds of the round.
The third round had a slow start as both fighters threw jabs at each other. Allan seemingly rocked Dolidze somewhat with punches in the third minute of the round. Allan scored a takedown in the fourth minute of the round. Dolidze got to his feet quickly and scored a takedown of his own within the minute. He held half guard until the round concluded. (29-28 Allan, 30-27 Dolidze & 29-28 Dolidze).
