A pause came in the third minute after Benitez was accidentally poked in the eye. Benitez had a minute of controlling the fight after, pressuring Jaynes with punches and knees that connected. A pause came for a moment as Jaynes was accidentally struck in the groin. Benitez landed a hard knee to the body during an exchange that dropped Jaynes, finishing the fight.
