Welterweights David Zawada and Ramazan Emeev will face off at UFC’s January 16th card, the promotion announced on Monday. The fight joins a card that does not have a location at the moment.
Zawada will be returning after somewhat of a layoff, as his last fight was in November of 2019. He snapped a two-fight skid in his last fight, earning his first UFC win when he defeated Abubakar Nurmagomedov.
Emeev bounced back from a loss in his last bout, taking a decision victory against Niklas Stolze in July.
The January 16th card continues to build. The current iteration of the card has a featherweight main event between Max Holloway and Calvin Kattar scheduled for it.
