Middleweights Omari Akhmedov and Tom Breese will meet on a UFC January 16th card. The fight was announced by a UFC social media account on Monday.
The fight joins UFC’s first card of 2021, which does not have a location set at the moment.
Akhmedov enters the fight after taking his first loss since 2016. His last fight was in August, where he lost a decision to former UFC Middleweight Champion Chris Weidman. He had previously been undefeated for six fights, including five wins and one draw.
Breese entered the win column again in his last bout, stopping KB Bhullar in the second minute of action.
