Rachael Ostovich has been released by the UFC after extending her losing streak to three fights in November. First reported by Nolan King and Mike Bohn of MMA Junkie, Ostovich leaves the UFC roster after four fights.
Ostovich last competed in November, where she was finished in the final minute with ground and pound by Gina Mazany. The fight was her third consecutive loss after losses to Paige VanZant and Montana De La Rosa.
Ostovich, a former Invicta FC fighter, made her UFC debut in 2017 after competing on season 26 of “The Ultimate Fighter.” She defeated Karine Gevorgyan in her 2017 debut, stopping her in the second minute with an armbar.
Ostovich served a one-year USADA suspension earlier in 2020.
Ostovich’s release comes after UFC President Dana White warned that potentially 60 fighters will be released before 2021.
