Christos Giagos Steps In For Rick Glenn Against Carlton Minus on December 19th UFC Card

Christos Giagos will take a short-notice fight on Saturday night, fighting Carlton Minus as part of UFC’s “Fight Night” card from the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Giagos steps in for Rick Glenn, who was removed from the bout earlier in the week.

The change was announced by the UFC on Thursday.

While Minus was initially scheduled to compete at lightweight, the fight was changed to a catchweight of 160-pounds following the change in opponent.

The fight will be Giagos’ fifth in his current UFC stint. His last fight was back in August of 2019, where he lost a decision to Drakkar Klose. Giagos has a promotional record of two wins and two losses.

Minus will also look to bounce back from a loss on the card. Minus lost his UFC debut in August, losing a decision to Matthew Semelsberger.
