Miranda Maverick To Face Gillian Robertson At UFC 258

A flyweight fight between Gillian Robertson and Miranda Maverick has been added to UFC 258, as announced by Maverick on Wednesday. The fight joins a pay-per-view card that is scheduled to happen on February 13th.

The location for the fight is not known at the moment.

The fight will be Maverick’s second since joining the UFC. Maverick had a strong UFC debut in October, defeating Liana Jojua at UFC 254. The fight stopped after a round via doctor stoppage due to a cut on Jojua.

Maverick entered UFC following a strong run in Invicta FC. After winning a one-night Invicta FC tournament in 2019, Maverick returned in February of 2020 to defeat Pearl Gonzalez via decision.

Robertson took a loss in her last fight, dropping a decision to Taila Santos in December of 2020. Two months before then, Robertson defeated Poliana Botelho on a “Fight Night” card.
