Light heavyweights Modestas Bukauskas and Michal Oleksiejczuk have been paired for UFC’s March 27th “Fight Night” card. First reported by Mike Heck of MMA Fighting, the fight is being aimed to join a card that does not have a location confirmed for it.
Bukauskas, a former Cage Warriors champion, returns after taking his first UFC loss back in October. The bout against Jimmy Crute saw Bukauskas get finished two minutes into the fight with punches.
Bukauskaus’ previous fight, a bout in July of 2020, was his UFC debut. Bukauskas defeated Andreas Michailidis, who retired from the bout after one round.
Oleksiejczuk will be returning after a year out of action. His last fight was in February of 2020, where Jimmy Crute stopped him within a round via submission.
The bout between Bukauskas and Oleksiejczuk is the second to be reported for a March 27th card. The other, also a light heavyweight fight, is between Johnny Walker and Jimmy Crute.
