After both earning the first win of their current UFC stint, heavyweights Chase Sherman and Parker Porter will be paired up for UFC’s April 17th “Fight Night” event. The new matchup was first reported by Steven Marrocco and Mike Heck of MMA Fighting.
The location of the “Fight Night” card is not known at the moment.
Sherman returned to the UFC in May, defeating Ike Villanueva with strikes in the second round. The fight was Sherman’s first in the promotion after a run on the regional MMA scene along with a stint in bare-knuckle boxing.
Sherman’s first run in the UFC was concluded after earning two wins and five losses.
The fight in April will be Sherman’s first after serving a nine-month USADA suspension.
