Saturday night’s UFC “Fight Night” card has lost a bout, as a positive COVID-19 test to Marion Reneau has taken her out of a fight against Macy Chiasson.
While the fight is out of Saturday’s lineup, the plan currently is to have the fight later in the month on UFC’s February 27th show at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
Reneau announced the change via social media on Wednesday. Reneau appreciated Chiasson being willing to move the fight due to the test.
“I appreciate Macy and her camp for being professional and willing to make this fight happen,” said Reneau.
Now moved with her fight moved ahead, Reneau still has the goal of breaking a three-fight losing streak. Her last fight was in June of 2020, where she lost a decision to Raquel Pennington.
The fight will be Chiasson’s first in a year. Her last win was in February of 2020, where she defeated Shanna Young on scorecards.
