Luis Saldana is expected to make his UFC debut on April 10th against Jordan Griffin. First reported by MMA DNA, the fight will be Saladana’s first UFC fight after earning a UFC contract in 2020.
The fight joins a UFC “Fight Night” card that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Saldana earned his UFC contract in November, defeating Vince Murdock with strikes on TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series.” The win was Saldana’s fourth-straight win when including victories on the regional scene.
Saldana is being paired with Griffin, who is also a former participant in the “Contender Series.” Griffin has struggled since joining the UFC in 2018, as he currently holds a promotional record of one win and three losses.
Griffin’s last fight was in June of 2020, where he lost a decision to Youssef Zalal.
