UFC are looking to put together a bout between rising featherweights Arnold Allen and Sodiq Yusuff for their April 10th event. Both fighters have agreed to the fight, as reported by Nolan King and Farah Hannoun of MMA Junkie.
If the bout will be officially signed for, it will join what has become a rapidly developing “Fight Night” event. The location for the card is not known at the moment.
Both Yusuff and Allen are undefeated in their UFC careers.
Allen has won seven fights since joining the UFC in 2015. His last fight was in January, where he defeated veteran Nik Lentz via decision.
Allen was meant to face Jeremy Stephens three months back, although an injury to Stephens took the fight out of a lineup.
Similar to Allen, Yusuff’s last fight was over a year ago. Yusuff picked up his fourth UFC win at UFC 246 in 2020, defeating Andre Fili on scorecards.
UFC’s April 10th card is set to have Darren Till and Marvin Vettori in the main event. Here is the updated card.
