Cage Warriors Announces Two Matchups Between Prospects For March 18th Card

Cage Warriors has announced the appearance of four prospects at their upcoming March 18th event.

The new fights will take place at Cage Warriors 120, which is scheduled to be at the York Hall in London, England. The show will be the first night in a three-day trilogy of events from the promotion.

Hughes Looks To Bounce Back From First Loss Against Hendin

Returning after taking his first loss as a pro, Paul Hughes has been booked to fight James Hendin.

Hughes competed under Cage Warriors for the fourth time in December. His fight against Jordan Vucenic didn’t go his way, as he dropped a split decision to the fellow rising featherweight. Not only was the fight Hughes’ first loss, but it was the first time he fought to a decision.

His opponent, Hendin, has yet to lose as a pro. Entering his third year as a pro, Hendin has five wins which include four fights under Cage Warriors. His last fight was nearly a year ago, where he won a unanimous decision against Kris Edwards.

Undefeated Middleweights Currie and Duncan Booked

Undefeated middleweights Will Currie and Christian Duncan will wager their records in March.

Currie is returning after making his Cage Warriors debut in December. The win saw Currie take a split decision over Dario Bellandi, giving the London-based fighter his fifth victory.

Still in his rookie year as a pro, Duncan has put together two stoppage wins. His quickest win yet was in December, as he stopped Lukaz Marcinkowski in the first minute of action with strikes.

No other fights have been announced for Cage Warriors 120 so far.
