A clash of two heavyweights has been announced for KSW’s March 20th event “Fight Code.” As announced by the promotion last week, KSW veteran Mariusz Pudzianowski will face Serigne Ousmane Dia as part of the event.
The location for KSW 59 is not known at the moment.
Dia, a Senegalese wrestler, will be making his KSW debut in the fight. He has competed twice as a pro before, including a 2020 win that lasted less than a minute.
The fight will be Pudzianowski’s return to action. His last fight was in late 2019, where he defeated Erko Jun at KSW 51. Pudzianowski has competed under KSW for his entire career, with his career dating back to 2009.
Bantamweight Champ Racic To Face Przybysz
KSW has also announced the opponent for KSW Bantamweight Champion Antun Racic will be Sebastian Przybysz. The title shot for Przybysz comes after putting together a three-fight win streak in the past three years.
Przybysz’s third fight was in July, where Jakub Wiklacz was stopped by his punches in the third round.
Racic will look to defend his 135-pound belt for the second time since earning it in 2019. He retained the belt for the first time in December, taking a scorecard victory against Bruno Santos after five rounds.
