Putting their win streaks on the line, flyweights Raulian Paiva and David Dvorak have been matched for a May 22nd UFC event. Carlos Antunes of AgFight reported the fight first earlier in the month.
The location for UFC’s May 22nd event is not known at the moment.
Dvorak had a successful UFC rookie year in 2020, defeating Bruno Silva and Jordan Espinosa via decision. When taking into account his regional fights, Dvorak is currently on a 15-fight win streak.
The past two years for Paiva have been day and night. Paiva struggled in his first year under the promotion, losing a decision to Kai Kara-France and a doctor stoppage to Rogerio Bontorin.
However, his last year saw him stop Mark De La Rosa with punches and earn a unanimous decision against Zhalgas Zhumagulov.
The fight between Dvorak and Paiva is the first to be announced for a May 22nd date.
