Gregor Gillespie’s return to action is set to happen against Brad Riddell at UFC’s upcoming March 20th “Fight Night” card. Christopher Reive of NZHerald reported the lightweight bout on Friday.
The matchup joins a card scheduled to take place at the UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
The fight will be Gillespie’s return after taking his first pro loss to Kevin Lee in 2019. Prior to the head kick knockout, Gillespie had attained 13 pro wins and six UFC victories. Among his UFC wins were two submissions and three other stoppage bouts.
He will now fight Riddell, who has yet to lose since entering the UFC in 2019. Riddell notched his third UFC win in September, defeating Alex da Silva via decision at UFC 253.
