Holly Holm will look for her third consecutive victory on May 8th, as she is being booked to fight Julianna Pena at a UFC “Fight Night” event. The bantamweight bout was reported by Brett Okamoto of ESPN on Friday.
The fight joins a steadily growing lineup that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Holm had a strong 2020, putting together two decision wins that put her on the longest win streak of her career since she became UFC Bantamweight Champion in 2015.
After earning a win against Raquel Pennington at UFC 246, Holm put together a stellar 25-minute performance against Irene Aldana to win in a main event bout.
She now fights Pena, who will be competing after over a year outside of the cage. Pena last fought in January, where he caught Sara McMann in the third round with a rear naked choke.
UFC’s May 8th card is currently without a main event. Here are the few fights which have been reported for it so far.

Bout 2: Ryan Benoit (10-7) vs. Zarrukh Adashev (3-3) (Flyweight)
