Danyelle Wolf will get her UFC debut on May 22nd, as she will face former title challenger Felicia Spencer. Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com broke the news on Monday.
The featherweight bout joins a UFC event that does not have a confirmed location at the moment.
Wolf will be making her first UFC appearance just after winning her pro debut in 2020. Competing under MMA rules for the first time, Wolf defeated Taneisha Tennant in September on TV show “Dana White’s Contender Series” via decision. The win earned Wolf a UFC contract by the end of the episode.
Prior to her MMA debut, Wolf had an amateur boxing record that included 30 wins.
The fight will be Spencer’s first since she lost a UFC Featherweight Championship title shot to Amanda Nunes in 2020. In what was her fourth appearance since joining the UFC, Spencer survived all five rounds against the two-division champion.
The other bout currently reporting for UFC’s May 22nd show is a flyweight bout between Raulian Paiva and David Dvorak.
