Two bouts have recently been reported for UFC’s April 10th “Fight Night” lineup. The location for the event is not known at the moment.
Mateusz Gamrot vs. Scott Holtzman
Former KSW Lightweight Champion Mateusz Gamrot will look for his first UFC win when booked against Scott Holtzman. The matchup was first reported by Voranek_MMA.
Gamrot was given his first pro MMA loss in his UFC debut last year, dropping a split decision to Guram Kutateladze in a “Fight of the Night.” The upset loss came after Gamrot’s long championship run in KSW that dates back to 2016.
Holtzman will be competing in his 12th UFC fight. He took a loss in his last fight, being on the receiving end of a spinning backfist knockout from Beneil Dariush in August.
Da Un Jung vs. Shamil Gamzatov
Undefeated light heavyweight Shamil Gamzatov will fight Da Un Jung in his next bout. South Korean news outlet SPOtv confirmed the matchup last week.
Gamzatov will be returning after an absence from the cage in 2020. He was booked for three bouts last year, although all three of them were cancelled for various reasons.
Gamzatov made his UFC debut in late 2019, where he took a split decision win against Klidson Abreu. The call-up to the UFC came after a 12-fight run that included two victories in the PFL.
Jung will look to return to the win column after fighting to a draw against Sam Alvey in October. Jung had two stoppage wins before the 2020 fight, having wins against Mike Rodriguez and Khadis Ibragimov.
