Jordan Wright will look to bounce back from his first pro loss when fighting Jamie Pickett at UFC’s May 15th pay-per-view event. The new middleweight matchup was first reported by Nolan King and John Morgan of MMA Junkie on Monday.
The fight joins the UFC 262 lineup, which doesn’t have a confirmed location at the moment.
Wright took his first pro loss in November, getting stopped by Joaquin Buckley early in the second round of a fight. Wright was returning after earning a UFC debut win against Ike Villanueva earlier in the year due to a doctor stoppage.
Pickett will enter UFC 262 in the hunt for his first UFC win. Pickett had his first fight under the promotion in December, where he lost on scorecards to Tafon Nchukwi.
Pickett got signed to the UFC over the summer after defeating Jhonoven Pati on “Dana White’s Contender Series.”
